Glacier National Park (US)
It’s confusing when the US and Canada both have a Glacier National Park, and they aren’t adjacent to each other! Even more so when there is a Canadian National Park adjacent to America’s Glacier National Park, Waterton Lakes National Park. With that confusing bit of information out of the way we can get to the beauty and wonder that is Glacier National Park!
Located in Northern Montana, Glacier National Park stretches across several impressive and diverse areas. The most commonly talked about is the famous Going-To-The-Sun Road that traverses the park from East to West (or West to East if you’re going the more common route). While this is a common tourist spot in the park, there are plenty of spots both East and West of the road that can be explored by vehicle that are worthy of a visit!
Glacier National Park is a very special place personally, as it is also home to Siyeh Bend (and Siyeh Creek, and Mount Siyeh), for which Siyeh Overland was named.
