Yosemite National Park

An icon, or perhaps a legend in the realm of National Parks and sights in the US is Yosemite National Park. A very doable drive from major cities in either Northern or Southern California, a trip to Yosemite can occupy whatever length of time you are able to offer to it.

While Yosemite in the Winter is a gorgeous (and far less visited) snow covered Winter Wonderland, the entirety of the Park is not open due to snowpack. The warmer months bring many more people, but the beauty makes battling those crowds worth it. Whether it is auto-touring, camping, or hiking, Yosemite has it available from Spring to Fall.
