Big Bend National Park

Happen to have three days to spare in West Texas? If so, Big Bend National Park is high on our list of places to further explore. In addition to a wide variety of sights in the park (you have both lower altitude desert and higher altitude greenery!) you have the ability to very nearly touch Mexico! Just adjacent to the National Park is Big Bend Ranch State Park, where the views and experiences continue.

To see the depths of the park requires a 4x4 vehicle and accounts for the majority of the time spent there, but also gets you to number of fantastic camp sites and fewer crowds. The trails (or “roads” as they are technically) do not require a highly modified vehicle, but some considerations should be made.

Enjoy some photos of the park and get in touch with us if you’d like to plan your own trip to Big Bend National Park
