Crater Lake National Park

There’s a crater… Which then created the deepest lake in the US (9th deepest in the world!)… With an island in the middle of it… And you can drive around the lake! And it’s all a National Park in Oregon!

While there’s no off-pavement driving at Crater Lake National Park, there’s plenty to see and do. As with many of the US National Parks, when you visit can make all the difference in your experience. If you arrive in before June (or after October), you may find that the roads are still closed and you’ll need your favorite set of cross country skis to get around.

Show up in the Summer though, and expect to see some fantastic views and be able to put your boots on over 50 miles of hiking trails as well as the 33 mile drive around the crater. Contact us to let us help plan your epic Crater Lake National Park trip!
